8 teams in NA GC New York qualifier

The North American qualifier for the Intel Extreme Masters season six Global Challenge in New York will begin today and will see a total of eight teams participating.

With the sign up closed, eight teams had signed up for the qualifier, where the slots for the IEM6 Global Challenge New York will be distributed. Despite announcing that the qualifier would be played best-of-one map in a double-elimination bracket, NationalESL have decided to play it best-of-three maps instead.

The brackets have been drawn and round one will see following matchups:

We Go Hard	vs.	Temporary

Round one is set to be played today at 03:00 , but matches may rescheduled as teams have been granted one wildcard for the qualifier. You will as always be able to follow all of the action right here on HLTV.org.
